now im sure im not the only one whos getting challenged here with boost leaks when running high psi. Do you all use normal hose clamps to clamp your rubber couplings with or something different? Someone mentioned to me to use T-bolt clamps. Any of you use them?

I use them on the compressor side. Low boost right now, once I turn it up, I will run them anywhere I can :) I do reccomend T-bolt clamps.

T bolt clamps are what you want to use. I've seen them on ebay for $2.50 a piece which is pretty damn good. Also, bead rolling the ends of the pipes will keep them connected.

Don't paint your pipes.
Do weld/roll a lip into the pipes.
Do use T-Bolt Clamps.
Do stick your clamps before the lip.
Don't over tighten the clamps, i've had connectors start to wrinkle.

Enjoy!

Here's my solution:
-beaded all the pipes
-spring loaded t-bolt clamp on compressor outlet
-regular t-bolt clamps throughout the rest of the system.

18-20psi on a GT25R (and on the GT2871R) and never once blew off an I/C pipe.

I pressure tested the whole system to 25psi with no pressure loss and figured that was far more pressure than I'd ever run in the system.

Silicone and spring loaded T-bolts.
I have a t-bolt on my compressor, and their heavy duty clamps on the rest of the piping. If/when I blow off a pipe, I'll swap in a t-bolt clamp.

Ack, don't get the clamps from road race or turbo hoses. Get em from amazon.com or summit.

How about you give a reason for not buying from RRE? Because my reason for buying is the fact they are reasonably priced, awesome customer service, and they've held 15psi of boost off my full T4.

Because for less money you can get spring loaded clamps from amazon.com vs. the no spring clamps from RRE? T-bolt clamps are only 2.95 at amazon, 4.95 for spring loaded, no use spending extra money for nothing.
