What is the most power you have made on a SR20 block without sleeving ? & for how long?

Mazworx says 400 which is BS

I personally seen 730whp @ 35psi @87mm bore

I heard some people in Australia have done 800hp without sleeves

WHP?? I think 650 or so at the wheels before the sleeves start ovalling if its 87mm and above. 86 I am not sure about (not many virgin blocks around anymore it seems :( )

This is a subject you will get different answers to. Mazworx prob say that to be my n the conservative side. It all depends on how much the motor is abused and used

The block starts to distort around the 600whp mark. Obviously, there are factors that can effect this. However, it’s safe to say that over 600whp, you need sleeves in order to keep it together.

buddy had completely stock internals minus cams and ran ~600 for years...was horsebeat after he sold it but still lasted another 2 years, dunno if the new owner pushed more or not...
