ok i got a situation here. I read on here to find whether or not ur running on less than 4 cylinders by pulling individual coilpacks one at a time and obviously there should be a difference in how the motor runs. Obviously if the motor dosnt respond when you pull a plug, thats the cylinder that isn't working. Ok so i attempted that. I have one of my coilpacks pulled for a couple seconds and all of a sudden the motor just stumbles and idles really low. I plug it back in and it runs the same.... Does it acutally hurt the motor by having the coilpack not pluged in??? I want to run the motor again and fiddle with the wiring of the coilpack harness just incase its just bad wiring however im not sure if this is good for the motor.

I use conzult to turn off individual cylinders while the car is running and haven't had any problems so I think you should be ok.
