Anyone ever heard of or used a helix manifold for an SR?? they are really cheap but are they any good at all? even for a mostly stock SR? i dont want that SS Chrome ebay shit but i dont have much cashflow either...

actually, if you get the new design SS manifold, it has larger piping and is a better design. the flaws of the original, like the cracking, should not be a problem any more. So says Andreas Miko, a well reknowned FWD SR20DE guy. He told me that would be the best manifold I can get for stock replacement.

Not that this helps alot, but Tougefactory.com carries helix, and if you look at their line up, they don't exactly carry junk. It's all quality stuff, and the guys there seem to know what they are talking about. Based on those two things, I think I would trust it. It's what I plan on getting.

Helix makes good stuff, a lot of WRX guys use their up/down pipes.

at tougefactory they have it with the turbo outlet pipe for only 375. it is a very good manifold look at the picture on there site very nice manifold.

stock cast iron one on the sr20det is the best! all the pros use it, no doubt ching chong!

I'm sure a ported stock manifold would flow at a decent rate. You could run some serious antilag with the stock manifold too. I think the S15 are inconel which would def. be up to the task. Just have to find a turbo that can handle it and the Maram 247 shaft Group A Escort T25 can run antilag and 2.5 bar all day. New price is close to $4-5000USD though but for full boost at 1800 rpm...
