5spd ecu problem

i have a red top sr20det 5spd into an auto 95 240sx
so i converted it to a 5spd i did everything except for the ecu
when i drive it and let go of the gas and push on the clutch
the rpm goes down all the way to 200 it feels like it is about to shut off
i was thinking it is because of the auto ecu and i need to change it to a 5spd ecu

if that is true which ecu should i put in it because the 95 has four different manual trannys and can i put the 97 98 5spd ecu in it

Does it ever idle properly?

Have you tried adjusting the IACV (idle air control valve) at the back of the intake manifold?

it does sometimes but when i first start it to warm up the rpm goes up and down like about a 100rpm repeatedly and keeps doing it until i drive a little while i dont know it has its own mind

and if i change the ecu will it make my reverse light work or is it because i never wired the clutch pedal to the car.
