Hey man, This is what I got. as far as I know this unit is in working order. I used it as a parts unit and switched the buttons and plastic screen out with my other one. this is a "grey plug unit" and some harnesses only accept the black plug unit. I do have the pigtail if you need that too so you can change over the plugs to make it work.

also i bench tested all the back lights I have and none of them work. but there is a guy on ebay who makes plug and play leds for these units and I can personally vouch for him. I custom ordered a set of blue leds for mine and it looks amazing.

I will keep you in mind, trying to stay away from modifying the harness. The Japanese wiring diagram is a little difficult to follow.
