Hello there,

I am willing to send someone 10$ over PayPal if they can solve my solution for my engine swap wiring issue.

Backstory: I bought a 1992 240sx with a S13 SR20DET engine installed and running, the engine had very poor compression so I decided to pull the engine and rebuild it. While the engine is getting rebuilt I still want to drive the car so I put in a KA24E (manual trans). I put the KA24E in and swapped the harnesses but there are some plugs that wont go into each other. My friend said that you have to splice new plugs into the harness to plug into the KA24E engine, but i am not sure what ones to do and cant find it online. Right now I have all the plugs plugged into the engine that i can but when I go to turn the key nothing happens.

Thanks for your help

if you dont hear the starter turning over when you turn the key, it has to do with your chassis wiring not the engine harness. if the ecu or fuel isnt turning on id look to the grey and brown power plugs up by the battery and check that the wires going in are the same colors as wires going out.

10 bucks? Whole hell of a lot cheaper than paying a shop and less time than pulling up the wiring diagrams yourself!
