overfilled the excess coolant tank

I saw that my excess coolant tank was running a bit low... mixed a 50/50 mix real quick with distilled water and just poured what i thought was a small amount, but i guess it was not... Now the excess coolant res. is past max, does anybody know if this is a problem?

My god, DO NOT drive your car! take it to a garage immediately and have them inspect your engine for excess coolant damage! I honestly hope you don't need a new engine, but if you do, consider it a costly, but effective lesson.....

The worst that could happen is coolant overflows into that tank and it spils out that thing on the top. In my case, it would be a hole in the side that's covered with duct tape. Don't worry about it dude

dct223: you got to admit that is pretty funny what he said, i mean how WOULD excess coolant harm your motor, now if your coolant went down all the way then that would mean a major problem... and if it did- consider it a costly, but effective lesson.....
