i have a 1995 s14 with a stock KA.
when i bought the car the previous owner said that it just needed a new starter.
so i went out and bought a duralast starter from autozone and installed it to recieve the same results as the old starter.
when i try to start the car cold it just free spins. doesnt engage the flywheel.
i have tried to hard wire the starter with no luck i also pulled the starter off and tested it. the bendix gear pushes out. i have looked at the flywheel and there is no damage on it. the funny thing about this is that if i push start the car and run it till normal operating temp and turn it off the car will start up just fine but when the engine sits over night it will not start
any help would be appreciated ill try to respond as fast as i can!
