Stripped Valve Cover Bolts

Is this a common problem. All but 4 bolts on my KA24DE valve cover is stripped. What do you guys usually do when they do strip. Sucks for me.

thanks for the reply but what i meant was the tapped hole in the head for the valve cover is stripped. i'll probably tap it out to a larger size.

any recommendation on what size/pitch i should tap the holes to?

oh, haha. should have said the thread stripped. maybe look up helacoils...
