1st of all , hi to all , I'm new here just got a 95 SE perfect condition clean interior but a lot of mile ( still the engine feels like a new 160K)[B] and also have a CA18DET on the way
but I have some questions? 1ST is there a lot of parts for a CA engine?? how durable is it? i heard that the CA can take more boost than the SR cos of the Iron Cast block 2nd what is the 1st thing i should do to approve my car handling ( I know it's good now as it is but better is always the goals)
I'm new here hope to make some new friends that have the love for the same car..Nissan RULES!!!

hmm a CA in a 95! I have not heard of many people doin that, sound like it will be a cool ride. One person you should talk to is MovingViolation240 or something like that, I think he has a nicely built CA in his car, he will have some good info for you. or CA18Guy, he has/had (he blew it up i think ) a CA in his car, and i think he knows a thing or two about the specs on it. As far as handling goes, a good spring/shock combo is a good start. Or even coilovers, which are a bit more expensive. It all depends on your needs, daily, track, or a bit of both. Try doing a search for "springs" there should be a few very helpful threads with lots of info. Good luck with your car, and Welcome to Zilvia.net!

Well I never heard of a CA18 in a S14, sounds interesting. Like Badmojo said I blew mine up, but I got a new block and I'm up and running again (I had a bum engine from the start) General parts will be a bitch for you to find in the states but you can get them with patience. No point in my talking though, take a look at this thread about the CA18... CA18DET (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=2133;hl=ca18det)

That topic you linked too should be in the Archive section. GREAT topic.

Do springs and struts at one time. Do not do them seperately.
This will make THE BIGGEST improvement in your handling. Do no think that strut tower bars, or other stuff like this will compare.
