quick belts question

Its time for me to replace the belts on my 96 240, just got the car a few months ago, i know the basic procedure and already have the belts, but do you guys access the belts from the top (through the engine bay) or through the bottom (by taking off the splash guards). I had an Altima same year before this car so i could just take off the tire...lol. Thanks.

u can do it all from the top.

Im sorry for the stupidity but this is the first time Im going to do work on this particular car so i want to get it right the first time, but...can someone tell me the order to take the stuff off in the engine bay so i can get to the belts. Or is there a more detailed writeup than the one i have already read. Thanks to the help.
