to get the total of a spring rate converted from KG/MM to LBS/IN just multiply the KG/MM by 56 and you will have the total of LBS/IN.
I am getting Zeal B6's in a customs spring rate of 6.5KG Front and 5.5 Rear which comes to 364F 308R. And that is damb stiff for street/track. And trust me I LOVE STIFF Springs. But most come way to stiff for street.
Your HA's will be this...
Tein Type-HA's
Front: ~448 lb/in
Rear: ~336 lb/in
If they are progressive rate then thats still DAMB stiff, if it Linier then its real stiff.
I had the HKS Coilovers on my s14 and the spring rates were aprox 8/6 and it sucked driving the car. Girls had to wear sport bras it was so bouncie.

hmm thx for all those advise.. i thought the Tein HA spring rate was Front: 338 R:280. it said on Tein Website.. so what do u think i should go with ..for the Tein HA.
My spring rates could be wrong. If you got that from the website then of course its right. The factory spring rate that you mentioned is pretty good.

does anyone know the spring rates for the Tanabe Super Downs? I have looked for them a bit and have not found anything. http://www.walserrz.com/trffiles/smilies/dunno.gif
