what are the differences with s13 harness and s14 so i know beforehand before transmission swap. tried looking up 5 speed swap info and there's none avail regarding this

Which harness, the lower harness?

Big differences. The S14 uses two larger plugs for VSS, 5th gear switch, neutral and reverse switches, starter solenoid, oil pressure switch, and alternator feeds.

S13 uses a smaller single plug, and two big 2 pin connectors for alternator and starter.

Use the one from your current car, 5speed or auto. You can modify either one to work for what you need.
