i just bought a 91 KA24DE to swap into my 90, can i remove the egr crap?

yea you can remove it. it runs a little more rich though.

it doesn't really matter. it will keep ur motor running somewhat cleaner, but ur NOx will b a higher when u get smogged...its up to u. u can always bolt it back up when u go for the smog.

u can buy block off plates if ur lazy. but, it's real easy to fabricate ur own.
just buy 3mm or thicker sheet metal, outline the flange of the EGR, cut it out, drill holes for the bolts, bing bang bling blang, ur done...

im not sure if there's a cooler on the back of the motor. i never really took the time to look.
my supra has an egr cooler on the back that needs to be removed so you can helicoil and plug the port that shoots the exhaust gas back into #6.
check the fsm for that, sorry i'm not sure - wish i had time to screw with it myself...
