Grinding teeth noise -- when starting car...

I've come down to the conclusion that
the starter is staying engaged and it sounds like its
eating away the teeth on the flywheel...

any suggestions on what to do ?

Replace the starter maybe?

well the obvious. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.
I'm just worried. About anything else being damaged along w/ the starter.
Also what causes this?

eh... i have the same noise.. i don't know what exactly is wrong.. but i say screw it and we shall see what goes first the starter or the flywheel teeth

HAHAHA you have failed Trust TRD. I would buy a new motor. If that doesnt work, try to listen to people that try to answer your problem, and not be such a dick.
