I installed a CF hood (two years ago) and stupidly forgot to take pictures of all the stickers on the underside of the OEM hood.

I found out I can buy most of the stickers from Courtesy Parts so that's all well and good, however Nissan no longer prints the California specific emission sticker.

My car is CA spec (bought in CA, moved to TX, swaped to Kouki, moved back to CA), but I want the sticker before I get it licensed in CA.

Could someone with a 1995 California S14 please take a close up picture of all of the stickers on the underside of the hood? I'll probably need to make a reproduction, but I cannot find any reference images in the FSM, Zilvia, or Google.

Please note, the car must be a CA car as the federal and CA stickers are different and it must be a 1995 as 1995 has different emission requirements than 1996+ and it hast have been manufactured between 02/01/1994 to 07/01/1995.

Thanks!

PS: Here are the part numbers, in case someone can actually source me a real one. According to the two dealerships I've tried, they are out of production from Nissan so I can't even special order.

We're talking about Label J in this diagram:
http://www.courtesyparts.com/images/s14/s14_991-1.gif
Which has the following part numbers (I need the one in red):

[14805] STICKER-EMISSION CONTROL
240SX (S14) 14805-S14002 - 1995 CAL - Not Available
It is also known as "14805-70F10" since Nissan has at least 2 names for every part (yay!:picardfp:)
240SX (S14) 14805-S14001 - 1995 FED - Not Available
240SX (S14) 14805-S14005 - 1996 CAL - Price: $2.73
240SX (S14) 14805-S14003 - 1996 FED - Price: $2.73
240SX (S14) 14805-S14006 - 1997-1998 CAL - Price: $2.73
240SX (S14) 14805-S14004 - 1997-1998 FED - Price: $2.73[/INDENT]

This is basically a bump, but I'll add some stakes in the hopes of pulling a wider appeal.

So, although I have a CAL 1995 and want a CAL 1995 sticker, I would think that there may exist some people out there with a FED or CAL 1996-1998 who wish to have CAL OBD1 emission for whom this sticker could be particularly relevant. Now, technically, I think your sticker needs to match your VIN, but perhaps this would be helpful for none-too-picky checkers.

If I get good reference images, I would be happy to make a reasonable facsimile (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facsimile) and both offer it for sale on vinyl (cafepress) as well as give the hi-res image free to the forum community.

Just some motivation, because people like to think that incentives and constraints shape human behaviour

This is a scan of the Federal sticker I have with some markup for what should be different for CAL.

I know the part number which goes at the bottom, but I do NOT know the barcode number which goes on the right. And that barcode is probably the one that matters (if it matters, which it probably doesn't, but I'm trying to go OEM legit so as not to piss of CARB)

Also, please note that to have the correct CAL sticker, your car must be a 1995 manufactured between 02/01/1994 to 07/01/1995. I know this is foolishly specific, but such are the eccentricities of emissions regulation.

Have you tried placing an orders through some of the online OEM part stores? I know you said it was a discontinued part, but sometimes these online store will have a few NOS parts lying around.

I have tried ordering the sticker from two different Nissan parts dealers, both of which told me that there was not a single sticker in stock at any official location in the United States and that no new stickers were being produced by Nissan.

The picture I provided is a scan of the federal sticker which I bought, which is one of only 3 left in the entire Nissan USA inventory database. There is apparently a national part share database for all Nissan dealerships and parts departments which I have successfully gotten other parts transferred through.

Again, this sticker is for a car that is 20 years old and only for models which were sold in a single model year (although it is the largest volume s14 model year by far). It isn't available for a reason, I think. That's why I'm asking someone who has one physically on their car to snap a picture.

Looking at the sticker after I posted it, I think I must have a 1996 hood, right?
