hi smart people.i have a ecu that im gonna run soon setup for 550cc injectors.a friend of mine has some 555cc injectors I could get for a good price from him.would they be fine for that ecu or would I have to adjust something?i do bodywork and mechanical kinda dumb at tuning still lol.

different injectors have different specifications for latency, etc. If it's set up for SARD (Denso) injectors, the specifications arent the same for HKS/Tomei/Deatschwerks (JECS brand) injectors

5cc isn't going to make a noticeable difference.

I guarantee that it will run exactly the same. They probably don't even flow 550cc exactly.

The CCs change won't do much, HOWEVER the latency change may make it idle pretty bad.

So first step : get the injectors latency. If they are very near, no problem.

I don't understand why you'd change 550 for 555cc though.

Injector tech has advanced a lot, these 550/555 injectors are 20 years old (and probably the same), a modern ev14 based injectors will work much better, and have the double capacity for the same latency (will need adjusting anyway)

He doesn't have 550's, the tune is for 550's and his buddy has a set of 555's he's going to pick up.
