NC Auto-X/Dorifto Events?

Hey guys, I've decided more then anything else for my car, what I need is seat time. Can you guys give me a heads-up on when some events or open-track times are happening in Norf Cackalacky. I checked out Lowes Motor Speedway's website, but couldn't find anything. There is always the possibilty I'm just dumb and missed it, so please point me in the right direction.

It would also be nice to meet some of you guys at these events. There really aren't any enthusiasts in my area, as far as Nissans go. Mostly Honda's, and mostly Drag/Street Racing. In my mind, even a monkey can drag race, so I'd like to get to some Auto-x's for sure. Even if I just watch (maybe catch a ride along) the first time out, I'm sure I could learn some stuff. Gotta get my car running again, and swap in a 5-speed before I'd be ready for the track anyway. Thanks guys. :bow:

Damn, this Saturday? I don't think my car will be outta the shop yet. If it is I'll try and make it. Just look for the skinny white guy with the primered '93 coupe, blue hood and roof. I hope I can make it. Thanks for the heads-up. If I miss this one, when is the next event??

Central Carolina's Region has been really slack about local autox's... most of the events ive been to have been down south in the carlionas and georgia...

Once my car is running again, I'm willing to make the drive just to get some track time. :coold: Just wish there was a track closer to me on the coast. Only thing I got out here, is a Drag Strip and Small Oval. Plenty of winding back roads, but I'd rather test myself on the track then the street. :nono:

yea. fayetteville is dead now really. since me and my friend (roommate now) are in uncc...half the team is away from fayetteville. we were just about the only 240 lovers. they're is one blue s14 guy we know up there with an SR in it. really clean and stock looking. but we should be up in fayetteville this weekend. if you wanna meet up that'd be cool
