try www.autogator.com for used but good luck....couldnt find anything front end for my 98, bought wrecked needed fender hood light etc.....we found ONE complete clip for $3000!!! they wouldnt sell parts...only clip. so i bought parts from dealer and got carbon fiber hood from fiber images. ur damage sounds exactly like mine!
other option is to buy complete jap-spec clip with sr20det approx $5000 and use parts, but usually sheetmetal is damaged in shipping from japan....thats y i didnt do it. post back if u have any other ? since im doing ALL these repairs now!

thanks a lot man.
i really want to get my wrecked s14 on the road a.s.ap.
i rather have s14 aftermarket parts, but all the parts are so hard to find.
s15 front clip is out of my budget right now.
-can you tell me where i can get a carbon fiber hood for a good price?
-Is the dealer my only option for the s14 headlights?
(what do they run for?)
thanx for your help.
hope your car gets fix.

hey soon2bsylvia! i spent about $1500 at the dealer on parts....fender $240, grille $145, rad core support $255, headlamp $205, bumper beam (rebar) $199, + lots of other smaller parts....it adds up FAST!!
expect to pay around $600 + truck freight for the carbon fiber hood...i can put u in touch with the place i got mine.
initial test fit of CF hood was excellent, i'll know exactly how good in a few weeks after i get car back from paint shop.
u really need to find a good dealer in your area cuz some of these parts are big and may reqr truck freight... too much $! where r ya?? hope this helps.

yes, all from the dealer.....theres no aftermarket sheetmetal or lights etc, other than the jap-spec or euro-spec headlamps and theyr $600+.
bumper beam (aka rebar) is the heavy metal bumper assembly BEHIND the outer plastic cover and foam insert. most aftermkt ft bumpers (ie vis, erebuni, veilside) do NOT allow the use of bumper beams behind their bumpers w/o lots of cutting & welding....they say just dont use! well i want SOME protection if crashed so i did buy a new beam and will try to mod to fit behind my veilside bumper......so if ur buying aftermkt bumper and dont care about crash protection dont waste the $ on a new beam (i assume ur beam is damaged w/ ft end damage?? yes...no??)
the rad core support is the panel behind the headlights, grille, etc but in FRONT of the radiator. the hood latch is also mounted to it. its kinda shaped like this...TT...and goes all the way accross the ft end.
if u go to the dealer and talk to a NICE parts person.... tell em ur gonna buy all this sheetmetal....ask em to zerox the pics from their "crash book" parts catalog so u can figure out what u need. OR take car to a the body shop where ur getting fixed....theyll do it all 4 ya!
keep askin....i dont mind answerin.

Holy crap.....i wrote a BOOK!!!!!!!!!! sorry <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

just reread ur post.....cross bar probably same as rad core support and reinforcement bar prob same as bumper beam (re=reinforcement...bar=bar....rebar)).
if ur &quot;cross bar&quot; is damaged check the vertical bars (3) just ahead of it....theyr prob tweaked too...mine were!
gotta get it ALL straight so everything lines up as h/l's and grille all bolt to it.

hey yenpit,
thank you for the info, i don't care if its long, i actually appreciate it.
well, i was wondering if the a 95' s14 rad support bar would be compatible to our 97-98 s14.
i found one in the junk yards.
i actually have no rebar, i bought it like that.
also, is each headlight 205?
i had bought a gtr bumper a couple of weeks ago,
will the rebar have anything to do with holding up the bumper and the fog lights? ( i don't really care about protection, i will proably die anyways in a salvaged car with no airbags)hehe!
once again, thanx a lot!

salvage....no airbags?? me too!! keep in mind u MAY have to put airbags in to pass the inspection when u try to register the car AFTER its repaired! i just found that out....here in MI.....i m gonna try to slip it thru w/o bags and will just have to buy em if i have to. ill let u know....still a few weeks + away.
by the way did ur dash &quot;tear&quot; below the pass side bag?? mine did.....sucks.....a dash is $1000 new, cant find used cuz most tear. if urs did i found a velour carpeted mat that looks pretty good....custom fit.

ill guess 95-96 rad support WONT fit cuz h/l's and hood shape are diff. ask dealer to cross reference the #s....if part #s are diff wont fit. i can try to get info if u cant. let me know.
h/l's are $205 each.
i havent attempted mounting bumper yet, but veilside said dont use the rebar. im gonna try anyway. im concerned the center of the bumper wont have anything to &quot;hang&quot; (mount) on cuz i remember a mounting flange on top of the rebar that the OE bumper screwed to. again...all these ? will be answered in the next few weeks as i start reassembly. pics soon! see ya

hey yenpit,
i'm in california. I don't think if it should be a problem with no airbags at the DMV. are you in Michigan?
just curious if they'll let you pass if you have a custom intake.
so what color and trim is your 240? i can't wait to see it!
what are your plans anyways? regarding modifications.
thank you once again for your help, let me know about anything that comes up.
go kick some honda toyota ass!

hey, if you are looking for s14 parts ou really should check ebay. they usually have some really good deals on there. One thing to check is to see how many items the seller has sold(the number by their name) adn to check feedback if your worried about getting ripped off. i have gotten some pretty good stuff off of ebay for great prices.
