Ground Controls are just springs with an adjustable spring perch.

Every brand of aftermarket coilover can give you a 2+ inch drop, the cheapest of them being D2/K-Sport brand, which have had a few group buys happening on other forums. Other than those, Tein Basic or Tein SS might be what you're looking for.

When you say ground controls are just adjustable springs with a perch does it make it any different then the other coil overs? and can i get more then 2inches from ground control because look at this 6065.
01 240SX 89-94 8 E 0 to 2 $ 399
6065.02 240SX 89-94 7 E 0 to 2 $ 399
6065.03 240SX 89-94 4 E 0 to 2 $ 399
it says 0-2.

Most coilovers are sold as a set of struts/shocks and springs that are matched specifically for each other, along with some kind of height and damping adjustability. What GC sells is more of a coilover kit than actual coilovers: you supply the struts and shocks, then it becomes a coilover suspension.

As for how low you can go with GC, back when I read tuner mags they always advertised up to 4" drops, but that was probably for Hondas.
But like I said before, you could probably get your hands on some D2/K-Sport or Tein Basic/SS for around the same as what you would pay for the GC system and some good struts & shocks.

well the rears for the d2/ksport doesnt go that low unless you lower the spring perch(eliminate most, or all of the spring preload..) My friend has 17s and car looks like its lower.

they also have some great coilovers at
http://www.splparts.com/

the kts coilover, although its
$1040 it worth it in the long run, but if your just getting coilover for looks then just get lowering spring/struts, their cheaper.

But the kinds of suspension you get depends on what your going to do with your car.
