quad throttle bodies as in a throttle/velocity stack for each cylinder coming out of the head? mmm not running turbo? without a manifold you wont be able to have turbo. at least thats what i think your saying. i saw it for the sr20de on tomei's site(pretty sure)

Are you talking about the EFI Hardware setup? They are on ebay once in a while, I don't think any store would stock something so rare. The company is located in Australia, maybe you could get an Australian company to ship one to you.

you mean Pulsar GTi-R quad throttle body setup for RWD?
I might know someone who has one.

A buddy of mine is doing the Gti-r individual throttle bodies on his Sr20det motor. He had to cut the intake manifold and flipped it and, he had to fill some other large holes in the manifold. He is still not quite finished however, it is looking good, I will take a picture of it and post it.

ive seen that in a couple options mags. gtir head on sr20de. ive also been researching this up. did they mill the the block of a regular sr?
i kno the that gtir motor has thicker headstuds right?

it's not a GTi-R head. it's a custom plenum and all the doodads you need to make it work.

hmmm, interesting

ive been on the ser forums lately, reading up on what the 200sx ser guys are doing to na sr's.

i came across this:

its seems pretty doable...pricy....but lets assume moneys not that big of a deal :)

I've seen a carb'd KA24e in a 510, courtesy nissan sells the manifold to fit some sidedrafts on it. I've never seen ITB'd sohc though. Was this 510 down under by chance?

pretty sure it was itb but it could have been carb'ed. it was on tv i think adam corolla was interviewing steve millen. if only they made it for the dohc

a lot of vw vr6 guys are making their own itb set ups, its costing them a good deal less than buying a prefabbed kit too. so why not try and yourself hm?

:hitit: wow. damn now im mad I didnt go top feeds. anyone wanna buy a greddy intake mani and some 850cc sidefeed injectors? holy crap that ITB set is hot. hmmm next year when I build a motor I am so getting that. tooo hot

i believe u could make your own for a KA or SR. if u have a extra intake laying around u would have to cut off the area where the Fuel injectors are, and weld on the ITB. and connect them all to each other so the throttle works all alike.

hahaha thats gotta suck. yeah its beautiful im wondering if i could just cut the flanges of my spare manifold and weld them onto the ITBs. still might not fit. trying to think how i could make that work with the ka. it would make a kickass n/a motor. and you could still use it with turbo too!. nice find.

Theoretically but im sure theres extra involved in that. youd have to be pretty precise with the throttle plates etc etc...

as for moding it for KA duty... i wonder, I know the exhaust ports match but I dunno about the intake. if so Im sure we'd have seen a greddy style intake moded for KA use by now... someone look into that. lol

i was thinking about, im thinking the flanges wouldnt be a problem but since the ka is .4 liters larger that the head may be a little longer and the ports would be spread apart a little more than the sr. so you might have to bend the runners? hell i dont know just what i was thinking. trust me ive been thinking about it for a while now. haha. anyone wanna lend me an sr manifold so i can test fit on my ka?

Why doesnt somone just take like ITB from Motor Cycles... Ive seen VW guys do it. Or even use the GTiR IRBs from the SR on the KA, and fab somthing up. Im looking into a Standalone so that I can run these.

I got a chance to see ITB SOHC SCCA GT3 240 up close(at it's shop). (It made me believe in multiple orgasms) The motor revs to 8k, and makes a lot of power.(That's all the mechanic there could tell me) I didn't have a chance to talk to the owner, but I definitely will do some interviewing once I get the chance.

very nice

how much did that whoe setup cost? (if you dont mind)

your impressions from going from a stock KA to your current setup?

Zemus

They cost a grip, most of them are De Stroked IIRC and ITB or Carbs, ususaly they run like 300HP to the wheels :-D
