Headlight sometimes off

Sometimes my left headlight doesn't turn on, sometimes it does. I don't know why. Anybody else had this problem and what did you do about it?

sounds like a contact is bad somewhere. when its not on, does tapping the light make it flicker?

check the plug that plugs into your light... it may be burned... were you using higher than stock(55/60??) wattage bulbs?
