Disclaimer: I have read many forums for the swap I am currently doing but this is one thing I never ran across while reading. Yes I searched.

So I'm putting a complete s14 subframe into my s13 and so far so good. The only fitment problem I've run into is the s14 ball joint not sitting flush inside of the z32 upright/spindle/knuckle. After looking at a z32 LCA it appears that they have a tapered "washer" on the ball joint.

Does anyone know how I can remedy this without buying new z32 lcas, and taking the washer/race off? I did find one forum on here saying to use part # 40173-33P00 from the dealer.

Has anyone dealt with this? If you have any experience here please chime in. Thank you in advance.

I have s14 lcas with z32 uprights -- just need that conical spacer. It goes over the balljoint and then the upright sits on it.

You absolutely need it.

Okay that's what I needed thank you. Do you know where I can get these spacers? Or a part number?

Try courtesy parts, I don't remember exact part numbers but you'll see lol it's easy to navigate through their website to find specific parts.
