SR20DET overheating, CEL is on, High pitched Squeaking noise, and coolant boiling

I had my brake pads changed on Friday and was going to the bank after and car started idling weird and overheating. It started smoking a little and coolant was boiling in the coolant overflow reservoir. It also makes a high pitched squeaking noise coming from pulley belts or water pump (not sure where its coming from). It does this even when its stopped and I don't ride the car. Any suggestions on what it might be?

I know right..It was fine the day before when i drove it for 2hrs straight. I also drove it 700 miles when I bought it 3 weeks ago.

The squeal sounds to me like your eater pump has taken a shit. Either the coolant is passing out the wheep hole or the bearing is cooked.. or the overlooked loose belt

Change the water pump and the thermostat.
