I'm about the hook up my 1400watt amp, myself. A freind of mine has a high-output alternator called the "iceburg " on his Toyota, even though its made specifically for GM applications,so maybe thats a possibility? Take it to an alternator shop is what I plan on doing; They should be able to rebuild it to have substiancially higher output. Its called rebrushing or something?

Bump b/c I'd like to some more ideas too.

If you have a S13 the s14 alternator is a 90 amp instead of 80 amp. This is of course if you have a Ka still. You can get a alternator place put more coils on the alternator which helps.

Does the S14 one bolt directly to the S13 KA24DE?

It probably wouldn't hurt to get a larger capacity battery as well as you increase the electric power demands on the car.
