Hey guys, I did an SR swap recently and havent gotten all my parts as of yet tbh. I went to adjust my door and realized my window was too high. So i hooked up my battery (No ecu plugged in) and went to roll my window down a 1/4" or so. The battery turned out to be dead so I pulled my key out and the oil pressure light stayed on even after the ignition was turned off. which would indicate its not on switched power like it should be.
I used an uncut jdm s13 harness and only cut and wired exactly like the frsort guide said too EXCEPT I hooked the brown o2 sensor wire to the brown wire on the ka harness as it is also a switched power so I don't think it had to be hooked into the red wire. But thats off topic.
So my oil indicaor stays on all the time the power is hooked up, now keep in mind I hadn't plugged in the oil sensor plug yet but it still shouldn't be staying on. This leads me to believe it's a ground possibly? I haven't grounded all of my wires (2 left I think)
