So I have a Tomei FPR with a Curcuit Sport gauge for it. I was dissatisfied with the angle at which the gauge was sitting, so I went to buy a 90 degree elbow so I could see it better when adjusting the FPR.

It's supposed to be a 1/8th NPT fitting, but I went to 3 different stores, and every single 1/8th Male fitting they had wouldn't go in more than 1 turn.

The gauge has no trouble threading in, but why can't I find a fitting that will thread in if it's the same size?

Here are the specs for the FPR: http://www.tomeiusa.com/_2003web-catalogue/e135_fuel_regulator.html

It's probably 1/8bspt then.

Nevermind. I just looked at the link to the fpr and it says they are npt.
Are the ones you're trying npt taper?

The fitting I'm trying to put have slightly more taper than the gauge. It's really hard to tell by eye.

There are a couple different 1/8 thread pitch. It must be the same.
