Quick tech question... I have a late model S14 Sr20DET that uses the "NA" coded ecu. I am having issues finding another Ecu of the same type. What I was wondering is if anyone has had any luck using the WC in its place. I know I'd have to get a new harness to match but I wanted to confirm that it would work before I went through the expense and hassle. Anyone done this or know someone who has?

The NA has a different plug than WC. Sorry but you need to find another NA ecu. 1998 kouki S14 blacktop.

or.. you can find a WC with a complete engine harness.

That is what I am doing. I would be getting a brand new harness from wiring specialties. I just wanted to make sure the WC ECU will run my car.

Ok so it will run everything. That's what i was looking for, was if the WC ECU would run my car with the proper harness. Thanks!

Yes it will.. I did the same when I built a Kouki S14 SR..I ditched the NA ECU and S14 Kouki harness for the WC and zenki harness. I did this to be able to run Nistune as well.

Awesome, yeah having a hell of a time getting that NZ Ecu to connect. Thanks for the solid confirmation!
