sweet.. fwiw, my roommate raced go karts for 10 years, and he says these karts are as close to the real thing as you can get.. 9hp.. fast as hell... definately the fastest karts I've ever driven.

id be game for something..altho im not quite in charlotte, i am not far away either...i go to school at VaTech and it only took me bout 2 hours to drive to charlotte when i was there for a mini meet this past year. I could prob drag a few of my slacker roommates down with their 240's also.

Is it true that guys meet up in a parking lot on Independence Blvd and drift in the lot? While we were there for the summer I heard that some do after midnight. I saw pitiful evidense of drifting while there. My oldest son and daughter live in Charlotte. Dang it was hot and humid this summer!

The event that was at Lowes a while back was sorely disappointing. There was some real losers drifting there. Legends cars drifting?? Gimme a break! The audience applause chose the winner! Jr. would have torn them all up.

Im in Mooresville :ugh: but its cool. Id like to come Karting this sunday, but I dont think i have the money. I'll be at the US Drift Event at Lowes Motor Speedway next saturday though. You guys should come out. anyone know how much it costs to get in? Are there any good shops in the area? I'm buying another SR head and will be building it and stuff..either that or 5 lug and 300z rims. Can't quite decide. Going to the junkyard tomorrow to see whats there.

Man you missed out! I have no idea how that compared to any other drift competition or anything, but I do know it was incredibly fun. A 240 had it won too, but he hit a wall on his last runs :-/ I'm really saddened that it's over and probably won't be back for another year. I'm under the belief that if Lowe's would start up a monthly car show/ drift comp it would catch on a lot more and they could actually make money on it.

I have a shitload of pictures, I might post the good ones later.
