sensor crap on the back of lower KA intake mani

what we have here is the back of the lower KA intake manifold.

what is this little box of sensors? I know that coolant flows through it, but that's where my knowledge ends :smash:

can this doofy little buggar be removed while running a stock ECU, and WTF are teh sensors (as you can see the ones on my mani (spare for polishing :tweak: ) are smashed to poop)

Its the idle air control valve. You can remove it if you don't have AC and can deal with low startup idle. I'd leave it alone though.

No. Coolant does not flow through it. Air does.
