I just installed my new HE's last night. I adjusted the spring perch and shock body perch per Tein's instructions. But it's just not low enough for me. How do I correctly lower my coilovers. I know I shouldn't touch the spring perch and I should adjust them by adjusting the shock body perch. But, when I loosen the shock body perch and raise it up the shock body to the desired height...how do i lower the shock so the pearch is seated against the mounting brackets again?

I'm sorry if that was difficult to follow. If someone could explain how to lower my coilovers, I would much appreciate it.

-Thanks, mike

use a jack to jack up the rotor and guide it up

Um the lower mount has its on lock on it. Its not held in place by the spring pearch.

I understand what both of you have said, thanks. But I'm still confused...when adjusting them, do the bolts holding them to the car have to be off. In other words, only the top 3 bolts (in the front) and the top two (in the back) can be in place and the bottom of the coilovers have to be loose from the car?

No you can just spin the coilover.

and this won't affect the spring perches in any way?

You have to unbolt the bottom bolts.... if u spint the whole thing with wiht out the bottom bolts taken off then u might damage the whole thing

No. As long as the upper perch is spinning with the coilover, you wont damage anything. You are just spinning at the pillowball, which can obviously spin as much as it wants.

so you loossen the lower lock and spin the threaded shock body correct? I always thought you had to take off the bottom bolt and spin the bracket.
