simple solution, check the specs on a major battery manufacturer site like:

Interstate Batteries Category Page - Automotive / Truck (http://www.interstatebatteries.com/cs_eStore/Content.aspx?dsNav=N~21)

put in the 92 accord, check the CCA, size (should be close enough) and make sure the positive terminal is on the same side as your 240 battery.

and if you dont know what the 240 battery specs are, do the same and search the specs for your Nissan.

Make sure its not too tall and your battery tie down will still work. Its pretty awesome when the battery hits the hood and burns a hole in it and people still drive the car like nothing is wrong.

Things to check:

size so it fits
max Amps it can give
polarity (sometimes + and - are reversed)

Other things are not really relevant. AH is the battery capacity, so if you have lots of power hungry things on your car, or alarm or things that can drain it when you dont use it, get a battery with high AH rating.

I do use a 10AH, 600Amax, 3lbs battery. But then i also use a cutoff switch every time i dont use the car.
