S14 SR20DET Missfire and rough idle / stalling at stop lights!

So there has been a long standing problem with my car since the swap. When I lightly touch the throttle and hold it at like 1500 - 2500 rpm the car missfires and bucks. I tried changing the spark plugs *NGK BKR7E* gapped correctly installed in the car and when I started it the car BUCKED and idled and miss fired REALLY BAD. I bought new spark plugs installed them again still same problem. So I put the Iridium plugs that were in it back in and car idled fine for the most part still a miss at idle.

This is getting really annoying I fixed 2 boost leaks today and still same problem at stop lights now the car will idle and then want to stall out and most of the time it does stall unless I blip the throttle.

I have taken a video this time but wanted to give you a little prelude of what has been going on. Any help is welcome!!

Check your coil packs! Make sure the tops aren't discolored.(signs of overheating) Check for cracks and pull the bottom insulator(rubber part) and make sure the coil spring isnt damaged or broke. Other than that i would pin point to which cylinder is causing the misfire and go from there.

I would think the coil packs were fine because when I go WOT the car doesn't hesitate and pulls consistent through RPMS with no miss fire only at idle and lower RPMS does it do this.

I have a very similar issue. After driving around for about 10 minutes or some when I come to a stop the car bogs down and won't idle right. When I start to take off it starts to misfire badly until about 2k rpms then it runs fine until I have to come to a stop again. After running the car for a prolong period of time (30 minutes or more) the issue seems to go away though.

sounds like your iacv has lost power, check if it has 12v going to it, i had a similar problem

mines doing the same but in an s13 chassis
going to try used Iacv ....and see if that works

FIXED cleaned the IACV and idles perfect only thing that needs fixing now is need new bov.
