As stated...which one would be better?

im assuming sr20det but there are a few on my local craigslist that have 302's...

Not a 302, unless it's the new Coyote motor, but I'm biased... There are better engines out there than the weak 302 of yester year.

Whatever you fucking want to put in...your car, your money, your project. Whats up with stupid fucking threads popping up every day with stupid "hold my hands and make decisions for me cuz I'm too stupid to make my own" questions?

The truth is it is ultimately your decision snd do what you want regardless of popular opinion. You and you only neef to be happy with your car.

I personally wouldn't fo a 302 because they are much heavier than a sr causing the car to feel un ballanced. This does not mean that sr is my first choice either

Cummins 5.9l turbo. Shit would have so much torque it could drift for days.

As a Mustang owner let me tell you the 302w is a piece of shit, while a 351w is where it's at.

I'm going to be putting a 302 in my next 240sx. Already have the sr. But like everyone else has said. It's really up to you. I'd love to put a coyote motor in a 240 but I don't think that it would fit between the uprights. Plus I already have the 302 getting ready to be pulled anyway.

Another point to consider is what is the car going to be primarily used for then you can consider all of your options like weight. Fuel mileage. Ease of Install. Cost of Install. Parts availability. Maitnance cost. And so on

Mustang guys will say that a sr is just a nother rice burning pos 4 cylinder

Nissan guys are going to say a302 is a overweight non power making noise machine

Well cheapest way to run trends is fork over ten grand and build a fox body.
