Yesterday I noticed that when I make a sharp turn at slow or high speed my front wheels tend to "hop" as if I was doing a fwd burnout. What could be causing this? I also installed my strut tower braces earlier in the week, could they possibly be playing a role?

how can you do a fwd burnout w/ a rwd car? and burnouts usually are from the rear wheel.. from the front wheels, i consider that peeling out...

he said "AS IF", pilot.

and about your problem, im prety positive that your shock is BLOWN upfront, or its on uneven settings (if its agx). :p

maybe u have mismatch tires with mismatch wear... stiffer suspension is supposed to minimize wheel hop.. maybe u have a SPL edition ka out of a xterra or something that has 4wd

I would say your wheel hop is most likely due to blown shocks, dead bushings, or a combination of the two.

I guess this gives me a reason to upgrade to coilovers.

or it could be a tie rod end. That will feel kind of hoppy/ wobbly.
