Should I buy Greddy S13 FMIC for an S13 blacktop in an S14 chasis or the S14 verison of FMIC?

Thanks for any clarification.

either one your going to have to modify to make it fit. order the S14 kit if you want to modify the cold pipe order the S13 if you want to modify the IC mounting tabs.

You sould order the intercooler for the engine that you have. Both greddy kits will work (rspl-VSPL). The only thing that is different when installing a s13 fmic into an s14 is the bottom ic mounts, it is not a big deal to use them and will still be stable. Also you will need a longer piece of silicone pipe connector for the hot pipe and cold pipe. thats it.

If you get a s14 fmic for a s13 engine then you will have to hack extend and reweld and paint your cold pipe.

Yups like he said...i just did my swap. S13 blacktop into a S14 chassis running S13 FMIC. Mines a lil bit more complicated since im running a Greddy intake manifold but everything bolted up in my gaggle f*ck of brand for my piping...Enjuku HKS hotpipe into BLITZ LM FMIC into a Greddy Cold Pipe/Manifold. Had to cut the greddy cold pipe a bit to mate with the FMIC, but other than that its all good.

thats the setup Im running. greddy FMIC and greddy intake mani. I got the S14 FMIC kit before I learned of the problems with the piping. then I got the IM and fitament got alot closer. still had to hack about an inch off the pipe to get it to work.

yea, you think some one would make a pipe kit for this kind of thing. Ohh well were all bad ass for just doing it and figuring it out ourselves.

Sure! Someone should make such an FMIC. I am sure there is a lot of demand.

For now, I will go for an S13 FMIC.

Sweet that should work fine for you. I called gpp (greddy) today. They do have a greddy ic pipe for use with the greddy intake manifold. But nothing for an s13 into an s14 or the other way around.

I will get to the bottom of this and let yall know.
