Drivetrain is one word.

There are some ppl with around 400hp cars. IIRC the actually tranny is the same as the SR and there are many daily drivers with more than that much power and their trannies are still working. Just get a better clutch assembly and keep up with the fluid changes and it should be fine if everything is already in good working order.

yea and please clarify which drivetrain you are reffering to. KA, SR, RB, CA?
I have had 412rwhp and 412rwtq KA and never had any problems with driveshafts, axles, or trannies. I have also had a 387rwhp SR with no real problems either. Get an ACT clutch though, in my experience, they are the best. Get the Extreme pressure plate and street disc.

Sorry about the misspelling or whatever.

Well, I want to put a VQ35DE in an s14 and pump out a whole lot of ponies. I want to know if the clutch and axles can keep up.

Well if you're putting in a VQ, you'd be using the clutch for that engine....the axles should be fine.

what kandy said about the axle... if you're putting in a VQ, then shouldn't you be at a 350Z forum asking if the VQ's engine and tranny can handle 400 whp...

Same for the LSD. Might wear out faster than if you had 150hp. But you got to think, ppl drift with ~300-500hp and up.
