dohc onto sohc transmission?

will a dohc ka24de fit onto a sohc ka24e transmission?Im asking because i need a few parts to get my dohc running and my friend has them all on his parts car.but i heard that the sohc ecu,maf,and distributor wont run a dohc engine..thanks

Hmm...I am wondering if the SOHC trans will fit a DOHC engine too....Another thing I want to know is if the SOHC trans has different gear ratios then the DOHC one,I'm looking to do a 5 speed conversion:)

anyways, they will fit but i never heard of the different gear ratios. im pretty sure they're the same. the only thing different iirc is the speed and other sensors. i think the dohc tranny has an extra sensor or something. just swap it over and leave one of them hanging. im not quite sure, i forgot, but you can do the research.
