About to put my motor together, but I still have to shop for a torque wrench. What range of torque will I need? Looking at the FSM for the lowest and highest numbers gives me a headache. I'm assuming I'll need an in/lbs and ft/lbs.

I had the drive of a craftsman torque wrench break. Took it back to sears to get a new one only to realize there is a limited warranty on them because they don't consider something that requires calibration to be a "hand tool." That may be the last thing I will buy from them.

I got a steal of a deal on their digital one when local store was closing. Best $60 I've spent there

Ehhhh, last craftsman TQ wrench I bought would not click at anything under 15 ft lbs and it was rated at 5 ft lbs... but I do agree the beam type torque gauge is a good, just have to have a steady hand and look at it directly overhead to get a reading. I'll stick with my Snap-on ones though for good. Never had an issue with them.

I have a Brownline Digital Torque Wrench 1/2 drive. This thing is awesome. I also have another harbor freight 1/2 drive torque wrench and its never failed me yet. I also have a harbor freight 1/4" drive inch-lb torque wrench and also never failed me.

I usually go 95 in-lbs on the cam cap bolts.
