if they both had to stay stock M3 in a heartbeat. If i had an extra 20 or 30 grand to dump in the cars, skyline.

i'm going thru the same dillema. e46 m3 or R32 GTR. aftermarket parts for both cars r expensive. but one is new while the other is well used. depends how hardcore you are.

well the m3 is great, but i think it will cost much more when problems occur. I'd sell it and get a R32 myself and a grip of money left over or other stuff like maybe a S14 daily driver hehe.

Hard to justify spending 15k or so more on a skyline than people pay in Japan, so I don't think it's worth it. Get the M3.

R33 for sho....Yeah I'd pick the skyline over the M3 anyday.....How much more of an individual would you be if you had that car....Only a selective few in this country can say "Yeah i got a skyline"...Man that'll be lovely.

:stupid: Xpecially here in Va Beach, only big cars around here are supras, very few RX-7's. Its mostly honda/acura over here. I could picture it now. Rolling up next to a civic and look at the dude's face. LoL :rawk:

great if you like drag racing. The M series is built with one thing in mind>balance. They try to build a good balance of power, braking, and handling. Why would you go and shit on that just to have a v-8 in ther

and e30's came with 200hp 4-cylinder 2.3L? the EVO series had 240hp 4-cylinders. 4 to 8 cylinder=ruined

The main swap for E30's is SR20det's. Just type in " e30 sr20det" in google and you'll see they have conversion kits. I want to find a e30 m3 chasie and drop my sr in, and start tuning. mmmm. 500hp E30 M3.

Westborough, some M3 touring cars sport M5 engines. The porsche guys were complaining. Suspension tuning and weight placement can balance stuff out for sure.

If I could just barely afford to own it, M3. If I had a TON of disposable income and spending way, WAY too much money on a car wouldn't hurt me, R33.

e30 m3 is one of my dream cars. e46 is just to much electronic nonsense. skyline gets my vote over the e46

It's very tempting to go the M3, but I am gonna have to go with the R33 GTR V-Spec. I just love the sound of the RB's. But yes, If i could, i'd go E30 RB26 heh :wiggle:

How about no? e30s are nose-heavy as it is, let's just increase the problem! Hooray!

e30 doesn't need more than ~200whp, preferably from a 2.5L inline four.

Not the e30 M3s. There have been E36s and E46s which have, though. The S62 was actually used in quite a few racecars, as was a completely custom V8.

M3, in the end it's just more practical. I mean, I'm a die hard car enthusiast, but I'm also getting married, and I don't feel like the added hassle of having a hard to insure, overly expensive car that's not technically legal in the US, is only available in RHD, and comes with a complementary neon "STEAL THIS FUCKING CAR" sign. Crash an M3, and once the insurance check comes in you can go pick up another one. Crashing an R33 is gonna fuck you for what, 6 months for it to be legalized? More? Nah man... I love Nissan, and the R33 is hot, but it's impractical as hell.

r33. life is full of problems. What makes you unique is how you can over come the problems that other's can't. f-ck insurrance, legalization, rhd blah blah...it pays to drive that car.

M3 becuase the way you talks in your first post makes you think "skyline is a pain in the ass, forget it."
R33 shouldn't take to long if you find the right importer. :)

Plus all that attention. People are still not use to the skyline. so they will stair and

a.)think of how to steal it
b.)be jelous and think how to rip it off

M3 because its a nice fast car that is LEFT HAND DRIVE.

for daily driving i'd take the m3. Then again If I had that much money I'd have the skyline for a track/project car as awell.
