Hey all. Me again. Back when I owned a 240, I ordered some custom-fit seat covers for it on eBay. They looked really nice, and the ones in my car, well, didn't. They didn't actually arrive until after I sold the car though. They've been sitting in their plastic bag on the floor ever since. Why I havn't listed them for sale sooner, I just don't know. But, now I am.

I would call the guy that I sold my 240 to, but I'm not too sure I wanna call him. I mean, he called me a few days after the sale to ask if my convertible ever leaked when I owned it. I told him it didn't (because, uhm, it didn't). And he told me that it did for him. Seem puzzling? Not really - once he told me he took it through a car wash. A car wash. C'mon people, who takes a convertible through a car wash? Sheesh.

Anyway, yeah, so the point is - if you want some seat covers, here ya go. They're supposed to be a perfect fit, custom-made just for 240sx seats (the ones with detachable head rests). Because the bag is closed, and I have no 240 to test this with, I can't really be certain of course, but I'm sure they're fine.

Anyway, they were $50 plus shipping on eBay, and I think I'll ask the same here. I'm tellin' ya though, don't just go to eBay and buy them instead. It took the guy a month to ship these to me. I, on the other hand, will send 'em right after I get your payment.

Here are some pics... one lets you see the cool 240sx logo, and the other is a close up of where I ripped the bag with my finger to feel the texture of the covers. They're quite similar to jeans, only gray. Btw, the top pic is a little dark; the bottom one is a good representation of their actual color.

ps - Oh, and, because I know some of you wondering... What did I get instead of a 240? Still nothing yet. I'm driving a borrowed car while I shop/save for an MR2 (prolly a used '91-'95, but just possibly a new spyder).

Nice to see you posting again, Jeff!

I would definitely buy these from you, but I also sold my 240. I had to, I lost my job, and I'm also gonna drive a borrowed car. Definitely getting an S14 next year though...

Wow, that response was fast. Sorry to hear 'bout the job though, and even more so about the car. I see you got forum-op status while I was gone though. Guess you're here more than ever now, huh? Yeah, I guess the love for a 240 tends to do that.

Friends have asked why I just don't keep the Accord I'm commuting around in now. I keep telling them, "There's nothing pasion-invoking about it. Never have I found myself sitting around wondering why I wasn't out driving the Accord instead.", adding, "I need a car that I can drive because I want to, not just because I need to get someplace."

I bring it up, because the 240 is definately such a car. And, obviously, you see that too. You should feel what somethin' with its engine behind you drives like though. Woo-ee. Anyway, good luck with your searches - for the car, and the job that'll provide it. I'll keep in touch.

thanks, Jeff.

My borrowed car is actually kinda dope; it's a '91 Sentra SE-R with ABS and LSD. I really really like it, but... RWD... 240... there's something addictive about it all. So... yeah... I'm sorry I can't buy your seat covers, . If I find someone that might want to, I"ll definitely let you know unless someone else here steals them .

How much for them?? and do you take checks

They're $50 plus shipping, which will depend on where they're headed. Yes, I take checks. If you send me one for $60, I'll put your change in the box with the covers. eg: if shipping is $4, you will receive your seat covers and six bucks. This way, I only have to go the post office once - and you get your package sooner. =)

If it's a personal check though, you understand I'll have to wait for it to clear first. A money order or cashier's check means same day shipping. Your call.
