hey idk what this part is. can someone help me out? there's a broken hose going to it and i wanna figure out what the thing circled is connected to.

Brake booster(round black thing) Master cylinder (silver thing with reservoir)

is it ok to have a big crack in the hose connected to it?

You need to replace it because it draws in extra air into your engine from there if theres a crack in it.

As well your breaks will be a little easier to use.

It shouldnt but I bet your left leg must be muscular if you're driving it without the booster.
