I'm in the process of gathering all the parts for the front and rear Z32 brake swap and I know this is probably a stupid question, but I wanted to see if anyone has put the Z32 Front dust shields on with the swap? I was told cutting the old ones is a pain but I figure if I could get it as close to stock as possible it would be best.

Yea bro you can use z32 dust shields. You have to take the hubs off to swap them out though. good luck!

How is it a pain? Judging from your SN, you're military. If so, go to hobby shop borrow a grinder. Done. =/

Its very easy either route you chooze to go.

if you want the dust shields just have to remove the hubs and also rear hubs/axles i believe they use 30,32,36 mm nuts! i forgot witch of the fronts z32 is 30mm or 32mm

and ya could also just grind off the outer lips on your oem shield that wrap over the stock rotor with a cutting wheel/grinder, there like 15-20$ at a cheap harbor freight store.

Just cut the fucking dust shield off, plus you get the added benefit helping with cooling the rotors.

You don't have to cut them off. Take the spindle off (or leave it on)... 2-3 good whacks with a mallet and they pop right off. Even tho it leaves the back part of the hub/bearing exposed to brake dust etc... it looks very clean with the shield completely out of there.

If you have access to Z32 dust shields, they will go on no worries- just make sure line them up when you tap them on.
