how do i know if my motor is obdi or obdii??

in general 96+ is OBD II and 91-95 is OBD I.... now im not positive about nissans but im pretty sure other cars with diagnostics programs older than 90 (or so) are OBD 0(as in zero)

As far as your car goes, i dont know what motor you have as you have asked a very vague question. you can look at the connector where you plug the computer in and i know OBD I and II are different. Maybe the VIN will tell you some info as well, i dunno, do a search and im sure you'll find out. check 240sx.org as well, i think they have writeups on OBD systems.

Of course, there may be some 95's with OBD II and some 96's with OBD I as they may have been built in 95.
