I need a set of performance tires for my 240, because the SR and junk tires
don't mix well.

I was considering either the Azenis Sport or FM901s.

I drive mostly in the dry, and want excellent dry traction. Which of these tires
has the best rain traction? I remember driving on the track in the rain in my
friend's S14 which had Azenis sports and they were VERY grippy, but people
have said they are no good in the rain.

Basically I'm just wondering which tires grip best in the dry and still have
above average wet traction.

Any help is appreciated :wavey:

Standing water is the only place I would worry about Azenis, otherwise I think they are a great compromise between wet and dry traction/price. They don't last long on the track though, maybe 8k miles street and track.

I wonder how the Kuhmo MX stacks up against the Azenis in the wet

i would recommend the cooper cobra z rated compund tires . i have them and they are great on dry and alot better than any other z rated tire i have used in rain . id give them a try and they arent too expensive .

Azenis Sports are excellent in dry, good on wet pavement, and OH CRAP! in standing/running water.

The Bridgestone Potenza S-03 is supposed to be fantastic all-around, but it ain't cheap. If your tire budget won't allow for S-03s, check out the Yokohama AVS ES100. It's great in wet and dry conditions, pretty quiet on the highway for a high-performance tire, and fairly inexpensive.

The S03 is your best bet. I couldn't afford it, so I had to settle with the RE950's.

between the Yokohoma ES 100, Yokohama dBS2, or RE950. Which would be the better tire.

Khumo MXs get my vote, they're comparable to the Pole S03s at a VERY good price :)
