So, I'm getting ready to replace my stock clutch on my stock car. The obvious choice would be to buy a stock replacement clutch from the dealer, only they don't have kits so you have to buy piece by piece which makes it like $400.

I see that Exedy has an OEM replacement clutch and it's only $150 and Autozone has a Duralast one that is $114.

The Duralast has not great reviews so I've pretty much eliminated that one. Any thoughts on the Exedy vs Nissan? Thanks in advance.

Exedy makes really good clutches, including stock replacement clutch. you won`t have any regrets with Exedy. stay away from cheap clutches, the springs or bushings on the friction plate comes loose or comes off completely causing the clutch assembly to not release.

That's kind of what I'm afraid of, but the Exedy still seems cheap. Maybe it's just a good deal. Thanks.
