Have you tried getting new light bulbs?

Similar thing happens to me with my coupe. When my lights are on, the driver side rear brake lights go completely out when I step on the brakes, but when I let off the brakes they stay on. They work perfectly fine when my lights are off, it's ONLY when the lights are on they start doing that. I've checked the bulbs, even changed them with the other side just to make sure, sockets, fuses, and the wiring on the housing and everything looks fine. Maybe a short somewhere or a bad relay? If anyone has any info please help chucky norris and I. Will be greatly appreciated!
