well he did say a front. i think all s14s are the same though.

i thought the front (pre) cat was just for noise reduction. you already have the rear cat installed, yes?

Yeah, rear cat is there. From my understanding the rear cat doesn't do anything or is actually a resonator and the front cat (downpipe one) is responsible for reducing emissions?

its been so long i cant remember. i know one of them is useless for emissions reduction. im surprised no one else has chimed in

I been told the front is a dummy. the rear is the actual cat. either way at time of smog, both are necessary for visual inspection.

One thing I do know, is that 95-96 front cat doesn't fit 97-98
