Yea this is true good idea. Also prior I did a search and found that m30 is closer to z31 and s12 but the mafs are the exact same so im in the dark. Can some one turn the lights on please? Ill def check napa or pep boys.

They may be the same dimensions, but surely the output voltages are different. My current mafs is from a 1992 maxima SE, same dimensions as 300zx but output voltage is different so the maxima one ultimately flows less. You should be able to use it (with safc) and your settings will probably be something like 4 in 6 out (my settings for sohc KAt) As a side note, it will flow considerably more, as i maxed out my stock sohc mafs, and have only been able to hit 70% on my new one. Hope this gets you out of the closet with your issue!

The part number [22680 16v00] [a36-000 n60] then under that is 1711A and has purple tag and JECS Nissan Maf out of a M30. Same dimensions as 300zx and J30.

fastback 240, the maf you are looking for has orange tag and part number is 22680 30p00 a36-000 n62 The next line with the black lettering doesnt matter, that is the individual serial number.

Z32 mafs>> 22680 30p00 a36-000 n62

Maxima mafs>> 22680 30p00 a36-000 n60

I will take a look at mine when i get out of class, and respond later. I have the maxima mafs as a reminder.

GO TO FUCKING CARPARTS.COM AND INPUT 300ZX NT, THEN 300ZX TT, AND CHECK THE PART NUMBERS.
Why is this such an issue?

Sorry to bring back an old thread but this is the one I was talking about. Is this guy really selling for a RB20 or is he blowing smoke?

I picked up a mafs from a 97 J30 today and it is physically different than the z32 or early year j30's, although it does have the same diameter opening. Since they used the same motor from 93 until 97, shouldn't the voltage values be the same throughout? The numbers on my maf are 22680 31U00 A36-608 E60 and has a pink sticker. What do you guys think? Also what is the japanese market name for the j30?
Thanks
eric
